Robert Morrish, CEO
Robert Morrish directs and drives the growth of Haventec from a technological, product and commercialisation perspective.
Robert is committed to guiding the business through all life cycle stages to global commercial success. He regularly delivers presentations on cyber security trends at international business events and government summits.
Robert’s long history of leadership in software and systems engineering, business strategy and enterprise architecture made him the ideal candidate for the chief executive position at Haventec.
He joined Haventec from Macquarie Group where he was Head of Digital Architecture and Strategy. He is a seasoned technologist with more than 27 years’ experience taking innovations from concept all the way through to commercialisation, and led two successful Australian startups that expanded into global markets: Sabela Media and Decide Interactive.
Ric Richardson, Inventor & Founder
Ric Richardson is the inventor and patent author behind Haventec’s technology platform. He has extensive experience building technology companies and has over 200 registered patents to his name.
Ric works with our engineers on core innovations including authentication and transaction controls.
He is the inventor of Software Activation and founder of Uniloc and has featured in international media for successfully defending his software patents in the US courts against Microsoft.
Vernon Murdoch, Chief Architect
As the Chief Architect at Haventec Vernon Murdoch focuses on developing future customer requirements and researching emerging technologies.
Vernon is working on decentralising security and giving data ownership back to the user. The technology team he leads is concentrating most of its research and development efforts on micro-services, blockchain and trust-chain management.
He has worked in software engineering and the security industry for 20+ years, and has been part of many security standards boards. He is fluent in more than 30 programming and scripting languages.
Vernon joined Haventec from the Macquarie Group, where he consulted on its internet and intranet security solutions to help make it the number one digital bank.
Naveen Neti, Chief Engineer
Naveen Neti maintains and drives the cryptographic core engine for Haventec’s Authenticate and Sanctum products.
As Chief Engineer he is responsible for managing Haventec’s coding standards and strategies for quality control and testing. He also heads the developer tribe, guiding discussions on code refinement at Haventec; and manages the organisation’s R&D tax rebate program.
Naveen is experienced in several coding disciplines including cryptography; Java and Java-based cryptography; RESTful web application development; and DevOps.
Naveen became Haventec’s Chief Engineer in May 2015. He was headhunted from a graduate program at Ernst & Young where he was working as a consultant within the Risk Assurance practice. He has deep understanding in developing secure web based systems, Windows-based malware and cryptography.
John Kelaita, Lean XP Practice Manager
John is focused on how Haventec customers need to integrate and consume our decentralised security solutions. His extensive experience in driving rapid experimentation and prototyping of customer solutions enables Haventec to deliver real outcomes that make a significant difference to our customers.
He regularly speaks and demonstrates at Cyber Security conferences and summits about delivering value to the consumer by decentralising high risk data and improving the end user experience.
John has worked with many technology platforms, languages and databases to ensure the product is delivered with quality, following best practices, industry standards and maintaining high security.
Prior to Haventec, John was a tier one enterprise consultant driving agile product teams as a certified Scrum Master and software developer. He has 16 years’ experience as a developer and is also a hobbyist game developer.
Edora David, Business Operations Manager
Edora David works alongside Haventec’s leadership team, overseeing the organisation’s financial, human resources, events and strategic projects.
Edora represents Haventec at industry and government conferences, and regularly speaks at Boardroom series events. She is adept at managing the day-to-day business processes that support technologists and executives alike.
She has more than 10 years’ experience in strategic operations management roles, including as Senior Program Manager in the former Australian Prime Minister’s Office, and executive assistant to the dealing rooms of ANZ Bank. Edora has a degree in Business Management, including a sub major in human resources; and enjoys the fast pace of the start-up world.
